Something About AJAX – PHP

Monday, December 5th, 2011

The asynchronous JavaScript and XML technology, simply called AJAX technology is one main technology that is playing a major part in Web 2.0 revolution. Web developers are facing a major challenge from several years. They are unable to change the information on a part of the web page with out actually reloading the whole web page. This has really been a big problem over the years and it largely irritates the users while doing small changes in the information on a given web page. AJAX has solved this problem up to a great extent.

With the help of AJAX, web programmers can make the web page to request web server to just change information which is on a part of the web page with out reloading the whole web page. In order to achieve this, SAJAX (Simple AJAX toolkit), which is a toolkit that is totally written in PHP programming language, has been introduced. This tool kit helps the web programmer to integrate the java Script with web server side PHP language. This will make the life of the web developer very easy.

But still, there are some down sides to this AJAX technology also just like with any other web technology, for that matter any technology. One of the major limitations of AJAX technology is related to the option of book marking. This limitation can create many hectic problems for the users of the web sites especially when the information requests to the web server are done through Post and Get methods. One another major limitation is related to the Back option on any web page. When a user presses on this option, this will take the user to first page rather than the last page which he viewed. This can surely surprise many web users who use extensively this option day in and day out.

AJAX technology can be easily used with many programming languages like java, PHP and so on. However, PHP is the most suitable web programming language to implement AJAX technology. Most of tool kits including SAJAX are also written in PHP. This should make the life of PHP programmers even easier.

GOOGLE is extensively using AJAX technology in many of its products, which includes GMail, Google Suggestions and so on. It is promoting this in a big way. So, if you are a web programmer, especially if you are a PHP developer then you should try and implement AJAX technology in your future projects to realize its real potential and power.

PHP programming is a very popular language for scripts on web sites, blogging software, and other functions online. It’s an open language with quite a few possibilities over other languages that are a bit more limited. If you want to learn PHP, you need to get started right.

The first thing that you are going to need is some basic HTML knowledge. You don’t need an advanced skill in this, but should be able to identify basic tags and understand the various elements in the code. The reason is that many times there is a blend of HTML and PHP when working with web sites or other popular scripts that are already out there.

Get yourself a good text editor that you can use. It’s very important to have one with line numbers on it. This is because when you get an error generally you are told what line number it’s on. This makes finding the mistakes very easy. Additionally, it’s nice to have PHP color syntax in your text editor so that you can tell the different parts of the code from each other based on color alone.

Also make sure that you have some basic FTP skills. This lets you upload your scripts and deal with folders online. Knowing permissions is also important. If you want to learn PHP, it’s easiest to just follow an online tutorial. There are hundreds of ones that offer easy to follow tutorials with exercises that you can follow. Do as many of these as you can until you get the basics.

After you have the basics, get a PHP manual online or in book form to follow. This will prepare you for more advanced exercises. Start making your own scripts. This is the best way to learn since you will have to think on your own versus copying exercises that are already made for you to practice. By following these simple tips you will learn PHP in no time.

The Need to Compare PHP

Monday, August 22nd, 2011

It is time that you compare PHP in order to understand the different strings needed in order to execute for the results that you want from the system. When you compare HTML, you have to specify the codes that you need in order to accomplish the PHP string compare demo. From time to time, you have to converse with your system in the simplest way possible. It just so happens that this is often followed by the signs because this is what the system understands.

Nonetheless, it is still possible to built the functions through the strcmp or the strcasecmp. These functions are used to provide a binary safe php string compare demo that the system needs once in a while. However, take note that this is case sensitive and the version needs accuracy in order for you to actually compare PHP and also compare HTML.

Sometimes, what happens is that the strings are equal to the comparison reports therefore generating an incomprehensible result – for you and the system. This is the most common problem encountered by users of the compare PHP and compare HTML programs. The solution to this is to decide which string must be generated and how it should be generated. When it is smaller, then the factor is greater than the other one, therefore the functions will eventually end up looking like the PHP string compare demo that the compare PHP has lots of.

Another common problem is the programming language. The syntax and the commands of a software may be different from another. If you turn to this program and apply the commands that are listed there then eventually use another program to run it, the commands that you installed in the compare PHP program will definitely get lost once these are not realized. In order to solve this problem, you just have to make sense of the PHP codes you punched in there by building in the functional reports in order to remove the unwanted spaces.

Sometimes the PHP string compare demo is equal to the comparison report. This results to unwanted spaces before and after the relevant texts. When the program is generated, the system will more likely have a harder time understanding the functions. In order to solve this, one must reprogram the software and punch in the syntax in the compare PHP jargon that will allow the system to fully comprehend this.

When done incorrectly, there are more downsides than upsides to compare PHP software. It is true that these might be too complex but these programs just need some getting used to. Once you’ve cracked the codes, at least in terms of PHP and HTML syntax, you will see that the program is not so bad after all. In fact, it will allow you to understand the system better because the major benefit from the whole compare PHP program is that it narrows down the other factors in the KPI and just presents you want you should know about the business.

MVC PhP CodeIgniter Application For Published Articles

Sunday, August 21st, 2011

The Model View Controller (MVC) is a methodology for separating web components into respective subrogated categories of Model, View and Controller. The model usually contains the business logic for information management. The view component handles the details of delivering the prepared content to the end user in the form of a web page. The controller component functions as a traffic cop for the respective end user view.

In CodeIgniter there are those times when a page may have several personalities to accomplish a certain function. In our example today a workbench for published articles is our targeted subject. The associated software tool would identify how the articles are housed, maintained and delivered to the end user. The first personality would be to list all the possible categories of articles. The second incarnation would prepare and manage all the articles associated with a particular category. The final representation would allow the user to view the articles content.

The overall desired effect is achieved by an action parameter as the third portion of the URI. These action parameters have valid values of “listcats”, “listarts”, and “viewarts” (minus double quotes) which correspond to the designed functionality. A fourth portion of the URI is also employed that in the case of the “listcats” option supplies the designated category. When the fourth portion of the URI is employed with the “viewart” action parameter it refers to the record number of the selected article. The balance of the desired affect is accomplished by using various queries and presenting associated views of the information to the user.

When the user clicks on the desired category a list of all associated articles appears. The user may at this point select any article of interest. The article will then appear and the user will have the option to review other articles in this category or to view all the available articles. This feature allows the user to peruse other articles in this category before continuing to view articles from other categories.

A drill down approach to managing articles in this manner is a perfectly acceptable way for the user to interact with the CodeIgniter application. Web site page bloat (having excessive web pages to accomplish a desired functionality) is kept to a minimum with this type of mechanism.

Advantages of Using PHP Frameworks in Contract PHP Programming

Saturday, April 9th, 2011

PHP Code

Friday, March 4th, 2011

Hypertext Preprocessor or normally called as PHP is initially developed for web page development to create web content that is dynamic. It is a general-purpose kind of scripting language. PHP code is usually embedded into HTML source code together with other scripting languages. A web server is usually embedded by a PHP processor module which interprets the code and that produces a web page.

PHP is considered as a self service interpreter for some operating system and a processor for current web servers. Since it is considered as general-purpose kind of programming language, the PHP code is usually processed an interpreter in a command line form in order to perform the desired operation for the operating system and to create scripting programs to its standard channel.

PHP is a freeware kind of software that is developed 1995 by Rasmus Lerdorf. The name PHP is initially stands for as persona home page. He first created the code to produce his personal website and to replace some codes of Perl Scripts which was been the programming language he uses to create the web pages. The Code is written in C language format. The code is used to show his resume on the web and to record the traffics for his site. His first PHP code can already communicate with his created database which enables a simple a web function. Lerdorf and company are still continuing to develop the programs for a greater use. Since the first PHP code is only running in the C language program, Lerdorf developed the code and created the PHP version 2 which the basic functions are the same as of today’s PHP coding.

There are more versions produced after the creation of version 2. Lots of Web Company and developers are interested in this kind of scripting so they were able to produce more enhanced PHP code versions.

5 Tips For Learning PHP Quickly

Sunday, January 9th, 2011

I have compiled my five tips for learning PHP quickly for beginners. It is sometimes difficult to get started when learning a new programming language and I hope these tips help you. These tips will help you stay organized, learn quickly, and help get over any hurdles you may encounter.

Let’s get started.

Tip 1) Start fresh. I try to start every project with a fresh clean page. If you try to take code from someone else and convert it to yours syntax can get missed or worse they may not have done it right either. As you get going you can make a template of all the things you might put in a project like title and other things but starting out I like to start fresh. This also helps work the basic set up into every project.

Tip 2) Use error reporting. All PHP has a snippet of code that will allow you to see any errors that may come up.
