PHP codes are the hardest to maintain
I think there is
a time for everything . Old codes and methods need to be put to rest. However, others still want to be in sync with older functions with the use of plug-ins and continue to maintain ancient super seeded plug-ins as long as they can. But on a serious note, the PHP developers must take a more aggressive stand on not replicating functionality by retiring old PHP programs that were already superseeded.
